Option Review:Car Diffuser Shame. I really love oud wood, it might be my favorite fragrance all time. This scent does get close enough to remind me of oud wood, but anybody familiar with the original would not be fooled by this one.
I bought the car diffuser and the scent might just not lend itself well as a diffuser. It’s barely perceptible. It surprises me a bit, since I had Seville Genoa as a car diffuser before this one and it was a projection monster!
It did get compliments from people around me, while other oud wood clones I have used are not received with the same enthusiasm. In a way this could be classified as a more accessible, friendly, mildly creamer dupe.
Option Review:13ml Spray Lovely, lovely smell! It was a blind buy as a way to test what Creed released after Aventus and I’m happy I did.
I’m no means a trained nose, and have not smelled the original so can’t comment on similarity. To my nose it’s a lovely fresh smell, with a strong peppermint vibe. I might just prefer this over Aventus at this point.
I’ll get the extract version of this once my 13ml bottle is gone. Really enjoying this one.
Ordered the EDP fully knowing that it’d be weaker than the extracts. I’ll be honest, it’s kinda weak (think 2 hours of projection and then a vague skin scent) so you’ll need to re-apply or go for the extract version.
Option Review:50ml Spray I'm a big fan of Fleur du Male and I've been looking for an alternative for years since it was discontinued. I just got my delivery yesterday and I'm mind-blown. Exactly the same fragrance as the original. Wearing it again brought so many great memories. I'm speechless. Thank you for this great perfume. Love it! I'll buy the spray extract next time since based on what I'm reading it seems to last even longer.
Option Review:13ml Spray I recently ordered quite a few of fragrances from PP and overall I am very impressed with them. Of all that I tried, this fragrance was the most potent and interesting. It's beautiful and sophisticated. It projects like a beast so you have to be careful applying it. For me a single spray is more than enough. Longevity is very good. While I can see how some people liken it to Aventus, the bright, fruity opening is as far as the similarity goes. This is much greener and goes in a totally different direction on dry down -- sweeter, greener, less smoky -- very different. I don't have the original scent to compare but this is definitely worth a try. It's one of my favorites now.
Option Review:30ml Spray A very strong and spicy fragrance. I am not really smelling any apple though. It’s close to Carlisle but the lack of apple is noticeable.
Option Review:30ml Spray It opens up with a creamy but full bodied peach that quickly turns into more of a sweet berry vibe. The fruity notes come together as it dries down to create a nice fruity sweetness that persists throughout into the dry down.
To me this seems well blended, as outside of the fruity top notes you can't pick out what's going on underneath, but it all just works together in harmony. The vanilla at the base is only serving to soften up the fruity notes a touch, and the spicier notes of ginger and pink pepper just give the fruity notes a zing. The oud and labdanum helps warm it up and add body to the fragrance. There is no real detectable oud note in this at least to my nose, so there is nothing skanky or rubbery going on here. It's very mass appealing imo.
I'd say that is a very easy safe buy for anyone that loves fruity, warm vanilla fragrances, I'd say it's unisex but really erring more on the side of feminine in terms of it's composition. It's not a masculine scent at all. Don't think this one would be best worn in high heat but seems versatile outside of that and would make a good signature scent.
Option Review:6ml Roll On This is such a beautiful cologne. Bought the oil and it projects beautifully. and what I like about the gem is that you can wear all year round .....and it will hold its own at any gathering.
Option Review:30ml Spray Extract The best vetiver fragrance ever made. I don't like vetiver. But this one is intoxicating, sweet and addictive. I know a lot of people call it generic. Hogwash. Nothing else smells like this. It is a heavenly well done perfect vetiver. Forget the reviews. This one is a keeper. And in extract it last FOREVER. And to to it off, PP's version is so much better t
Option Review:13ml Spray After owning the original, I will never again buy one! This is completely identical to the original, tbh it's way better! I could smell it on myself the next morning. Thanks for saving me £200+
Option Review:30ml Spray Missing some flowers in the opening, a bit more citrus. Opening a bit less suble than The original. Also a bit sweeter. Overall and taking in The differencis a Great version. And really addictive.
