Noir Amber For Women 1041

This review is for the spray only. On first smell from the bottle this seems promising – not necessarily as a good copy of the original but at least it seems that it may be a nice perfume. I do not own the original but have been close to buying it on several occasions so have a fair idea on the scent. This does not have the same complexity and additional sweetness as the original, I am missing the jasmine scent and the sexiness of the smell. I must admit I do not enjoy sandalwood and, to me at least, this is quite a prevalent scent in this so that does put me off, this may not apply to you. On first spray you can smell the warmth of the ginger and pink pepper and spiciness which I like but these notes don’t stay around very long and on dry down it smells to me a little like burnt wood. It’s not an awful scent I suppose but I definitely would not recommend this as a ‘dupe’ for the original unfortunately. It smells more like a cheap incense stick which is trying to imitate the original. It’s almost more like an older man’s aftershave, I personally don’t mind more masculine smells as I enjoy spicy woody perfumes but this one is sadly not the same as the original at all. Disappointed.

This review is for the spray only. Disappointed with this, it misses the mark as a dupe of the original. I asked my OH and he said it melt like cheap toilet spray. I think some people may like this perfume but to me it smells closer to old lady roses scent than peony’s. I have owned the original and although I must admit it is not my favourite scent from JM, I obviously liked the original perfume to buy it whereas I would not have bought this copy version had I been able to smell it first. I give it three stars not based on the likeness as a good copy but more so that I don’t hate the smell, it’s pretty enough and feminine and some people may enjoy it. It does last a fair time so that’s a positive if you did like the scent, but it’s missing the delicate complexity of the original and as a copy I could not recommend unfortunately.

Review for the spray only. I purchased a number of JM copies at the same time and unfortunately most were a let-down, I thought I had wasted all my money. However, this one is a very good copy. It is not 100% spot on but good enough and if you like the original smell I would say you wouldn’t find too much at fault with this dupe. It also has good throw, it lasts a good length of time and I can still smell it on me a few hours later. It is quite a unisex smell and I would guess some may say it could be an aftershave instead (I do know men who wear the original) but I really enjoy this scent and it’s very unusual. To save on the expensive original, I would say give this a try first! I think I would be likely to buy this copy again.

Life Beaut Glow For Women 1849

Review for the oil only. I so wanted to love this! I absolutely love the original perfume and was really very excited to have possibly found a more affordable alternative. Unfortunately I am left disappointed, perhaps the spray would be better but it has put me off trying new things from Perfume Parlour in the future. On first application the overwhelming scent is very lemony and citrusy, and well soapy. It doesn’t have the sophistication or sweetness of the original. I will say that once the scent has settled it’s not a bad scent and I could wear it, my OH even complimented me on it. It does last well on the skin and throws quite well. As a perfume in itself, would I have bought it had I smelt it before – probably not, could I recommend it as a good copy – no, but is it an ok perfume when the lemony/soapy scent goes away a bit – yes it’s ok. I was really hoping for a good copy though and this is not it.

Victory For Men 0615

This one is a bit strange, the opening smells nothing like the original Joop Homme (to me anyway), it is however a really nice scent. But then once it has dried down after a few minutes, it turns into the fragrence we all know and love. Once dried down you would not know it is not the original, very good projection and longevity. It’s only missed out on 5 stars due to the opening, otherwise it would be 5 star. I will definitely be buying this one again! Very pleased with it.

It haven’t smelt the original, but WOW, I’ve just found my new favourite scent. It’s simply gorgeous. Very very impressed with this.

Japanese Complete For Men 0604

To my nose, this smells identical to the original! A great long lasting fragrence. Will be buying more of this when it runs out.

Strong Pashtun 0031

Never smelt the original, but boy this smells good. A real dark mysterious scent, go easy on it though, it’s very powerful.
