Not tried the OG but this is a great warm weather scent. Ocean Leather is a pretty much perfect name for it. Fresh but with quite some depth. Long lasting and projecting. I catch the scent in the air for hours after applying, It seems to grow on me more and more, even though I liked it plenty from the get go. Keep reaching for this one over my 30+ other PP frags. My 3ml oil is already nearly gone, and I intend to order this one again right away.

Saw this on a recent good review here, so got 3ml on a whim... Love it! The leathery fruitiness is really unusual, and importantly for me, sufficiently different to Tuscan leather (which also has raspberry and leather) to be worth getting. It lasts really well and leaves a uniquely enjoyable sillage. Definitely unusual, but after an hour or two I’m really enjoying being in the scent bubble. Just ordered another 6ml. I’d recommend a 3ml tester, as with any unusual fragrance ðŸ™ðŸ»

Another great fragrance from PP here! I’ve never tried the original, but this smells really clean and good quality. I like neroli in perfumes, and it’s blended into this one really nicely. I find pretty long lasting after one wearing this afternoon, and as l turn my head I can constantly smell this sweet, classy citrus aroma (l always apply to the sides of my neck so that l don’t become ‘nose blind’ to a smell that’s constantly rising up from under my nose). Great scent ðŸ™ðŸ»

What a great surprise this one was! I’ve never smelt the original, but gave this a go due to the good reviews. Delightful, fresh but inviting scent that is pretty hard for me to describe, but kind of soft fruity-aquatic. It smells really unique to me. Though not a ‘loud’ fragrance it is quite persistent and gives gentle whiffs for a good while. It’s one of the cheaper frags at PP so I’m happy to apply liberally, and will definitely order more. Perfect summer scent.

Probably the best I’ve tried so far from PP (though African Art is a very close second). I have a carded sample of Oud Satin Mood, and this is very, very close ‘in the air’. Smelt up close, as is often the case with these types of frags, it doesn’t smell exactly the same, but the sillage is super close. It is slightly less gritty/harsh than the original, and I actually prefer that. Longevity is ridiculous and projection beastly. Some may find it a bit on the feminine side, but trust me, in a crisp white shirt you’ll be quite the dandy! Lol
Unique, seductive and powerful. The price value proposition with this one is unbeatable ✌ðŸ»

At first l didn’t like this at all. I hadn’t smelt the original, but just fancied trying a popular niche scent. I’d advise anyone not to leave a review until they’ve given a fragrance a good try out. Especially ones based on niche perfumes, which are often more unusual anyway. That’s what I did with this one, and I’m glad I did. I enjoy the smell now, and will look forward to wearing in my rotation. It’s probably not something you’d risk on a date or an interview, though; whenever you need a ‘safe’ fragrance. Longevity seems decent and projection soft but noticeable. I’d give this one a solid 4 stars (I give 5 to absolute favourites) and recommend giving it a try.

Haven’t smelt the original, but I really enjoy this anyway. It’s a VERY strong tuberose dominant fragrance that lasts and lasts (l got 6ml oil). If you like tuberose you can’t go wrong really. If you’re not sure whether you like tuberose or not, I’d play safe with a small oil. 6ml should last me a long time as just a little applied to either side of my neck has the fragrance swirling around me for ages. Heavy application would be really suffocating. Best worn in cooler temperatures. Great fragrance!

Tried this one after a youtube reviewer, who’d been in the PP shop and bought a bunch of fragrances, recommended it. It smells entirely like stewed fruits. Like when you put fruit in a pan of water and cook it in the hob until it’s mushy. That’s it. Not an unpleasant smell l guess, but not something I’d want to smell like personally.

Maybe l have a bad batch, but this smells nothing like br540 (l have a genuine carded sample). It’s an odd metallic latex/condomy smell and is very short lived. Hey ho, win some lose some.

I’ve ordered a few rom PP lately, and this is my favourite by far. I’ve never smelt the original so can’t say how near it is, but it’s a lovely, simple, soft fragrance that is hard to describe. Despite its soft character, it’s very persistent giving you comforting wafts as you move around for hours. Love it,
