I'm utterly amazed by how good Gloriaas is. I have been a fan of Cacheral's Gloria since 2000, and was gutted when it was discontinued. I snagged a couple of bottles on Ebay before it became so stupidly expensive (£200 for a 30ml bottle that would have originally cost £15), but for the past couple of years have worn it less and less because I really don't want to run out.
So when I saw a review of Gloria which mentioned that Gloriaas was really similar I was intrigued. I've tried a number of perfumes which are supposed to smell similar, but these have never been right.
Incredibly, Perfume Parlour's Gloriaas is exactly the same as my beloved Gloria. I have been wearing it the last couple of days, and it really lasts well - I put some on at 8am, and it's now 11pm and there are still faint wafts coming from my wrist.
I will certainly be reordering more Gloriaas when this bottle is finished. Please don't discontinue it in the meantime!
Chief Island 1207
Spot on dupe! Really smells like the original, lovely
Synthetic For Women 1342
Not quite the same as the original (not as richly leathery with that little bit of skank!) but still lovely.
Sinless For Women 0069
Yup, very similar to Angel, down to the extremely long and strong drydown!
Blooming Citrus For Women 0219
Very pretty, can definitely smell the Lime Flowers in this. Lovely.
Tropical For Women 1111344
Awful, headache inducing screaming florals, had to wash this off, it gave me a migraine...
Citrus Herb For Women 0287
Not so sure about this one, smells a bit like lime pickle!
